Every year on June 05, we celebrate the World Environment Day. Generally people cultivate plants or get busy in the garden on this day. But we all know that only a single day is not enough for being a plant lover. Plants are so useful for us that nearly every aspect of our life is affected by them. You may be amazed to know that they are good for a healthy relationship and sex life as well.

Plant flowers in your bedroom to charge your sex life. You can plant roses, mogra, ratrani, fengshui or money plant in your bedroom. These plants may also be planted in the balcony. They are very easy to maintain. They need sunlight just once in a week and may survive if you water them once in two days. The fragrance of the flowers like roses, mogra and ratrani will fill your bedroom with colors and romance. While plants like fengshui or money plant fill the room with positive energy that is good for your sex life. You must keep at least a single plant in your room; it will keep both of you closer.

Indoor plants are good for your health as well. They reduce fatigue, sore throats, coughs and colds by more than 30%. These plants absorb and lessen noise by up to 20%. Plants with small leaves will be the best for this. Plants also create a learning environment by helping in concentration, memory recall and encouraging positive thinking. Indoor plants absorb harmful chemicals and toxins from the atmosphere. House plant will remove the formaldehyde emitted from MDF, carpets and paints, if you have bought new furnishings or shifted into a new house. Rubber plant will put up with low light and cooler temperatures and remove formaldehyde. Boston fern is good for asthmatics and for people suffering from sore throats.

As per Vastu Shastra (an ancient science that deals in residential buildings, factories and industries), plants play significant role in activating positive energy to our daily life. If you are thinking of keeping plants in your bedroom, just remember the following points of vastu shastra:
  • Any plant should not be planted in front of the entrance of house.
  • Tulsi or Basil plant is most auspicious and powerful plant. It should be located in the North, East and North-East of your home. It may also be grown at the front or the back of the house.
  • Small trees can be planted in the North and East side. But any tree should not be planted in the North-east corner.
  • Thorny plants (except rose) should not be planted in the house as these plants can have negative energy.
  • The creepers should be planted near entrance door or in garden.
  • Milky trees should not be planted in the house as it may affect the health of family members.
  • Flowering plants like Rose, Jasmine, Marigold, Mogra, Champak and Prijat have positive energy. They should be placed in the South-west portion of the house.
  • Money plant brings good luck to the house, so it should be planted inside the house.
